Jim Wilson, founding member of The Business Bank, offers over 35 years of banking experience. Jim's primary responsibilities include management and strategic direction for the bank to provide clients with quality service. Jim has extensive experience working in direct sales, marketing, small business development and corporate management. Jim completed the UW-Madison graduate program from the Herbert Prochnow Graduate School of Banking.
Jim proudly serves as a board member for the Appleton Medical Center Foundation and Fox Cities Amateur Sports Authority, Inc. In the past Jim has participated on several non-profit organizations' board.
Married for 40 years to his wife Joanne, Jim enjoys family time and watching his three grandchildren participate in sports.
Why Jim began The Business Bank:
"With what was occurring in banking, I saw a real need for a locally owned and operated bank that focuses on servicing small businesses in our community. As one of the original members of the startup team, it was an easy decision to proceed to create a financial institution that would cater to locally owned businesses. I have continued the service by building The Business Bank team with qualified and community driven members who share the same business ideals."
